This initiative carries out objective research and public opinion surveys across all schools of thought within and across the two communities, bridging the gap between public opinion and the peace process, while developing the views of the public into policy proposals.

Cyprus Community Media Centre (CCMC)

CCMC supports community media in Cyprus in an effort to diversify the media landscape by empowering a media-literate and active society. CCMC helps to build the capacity of civil society organisations in communicating their work to the public.

Economic Interdependence


Through a partnership between the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce, this project focuses on demonstrating the benefits economic interdependence between the two communities.

ENGAGE: Civic Engagement for Reconciliation

Led by the Management Centre and the NGO Support Centre, the Engage, Do Your Part for Peace project works in partnership with civil society across the island to provide a platform for dialogue and increased citizen involvement in reconciliation efforts.

Future Together : Participatory Development in Cyprus

In partnership with the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK) and the Union of Chambers of Cyprus Turkish Engineers and Architects (KTMMOB), this project aims to engage Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots further in planning of shared spaces, with a particular emphasis on cultural heritage and environmental initiatives.

Support to Confidence-Building Measures

In collaboration with the UN family in Cyprus, UNDP-ACT provides support that helps to build a conducive environment for the island’s peace process.

Youth Activism

In partnership with Soma Akriton and the Mediation Assocation as the lead organisations of the Cyprus Network for Youth Development, this project inspires and energises Cypriot youth to actively participate in efforts to support reconciliation between the two communities. The Youth Activism project values the involvement of the island’s youth as active concerned citizens of a future Cyprus.
