The Project

This project aimed at virtually reconstructing the Apostolos Andreas Monastery and the Hala Sultan Tekke. The project was a multimedia/software project involving active participation and input from historians/archaeologists. The multimedia application includes:

· two and three dimensional architectural  reconstructions of the monument

· Text, video, images and animation that will present the history of the monument and the functions, life and rituals taking place at this very important religious place.

 

Being a software project, it followed the lifecycle approach of software development. This involved the steps of: Problem Identification (aims and objectives), System Analysis and Design, Implementation/Software Development, Testing, Installation and Dissemination of Project Results.
